Choose information for your audience
Upload event details, business documents or a curated photo collection. Wait for indexing, then test questions and requested attachments. Write instructions that distinguish source-supported answers from questions that need a human organizer or member of staff.
Check that the channel is ready
Open Social QR for the intended Agent and select WeChat. Complete the setup requested by the platform if it shows Set up. Generate a customer QR when the channel is ready. Do not confuse account setup with the invitation you distribute to customers.
Share and test the customer code
Customers use Scan inside WeChat and complete the confirmation flow. Ask them to send a realistic question to check the connection. Customer codes are temporary: check expiry and generate a new code with Refresh QR when needed. Only distribute source material you are authorized to share.

Can I keep distributing an expired QR?
No. Refresh an expired customer QR and share the updated code.
Is WeChat Pay required to chat?
The Agent sharing flow and the owner’s subscription payment method are separate. Follow the channel connection instructions to start chatting.
